All of the commercial transactions executed by Fearntank are followed up by capable team of operations specialists, thus ensuring that both charterers and owners receive all of the information to which they are entitled, that all payments due are properly billed in a timely manner, and that all claims are documented and followed up. At the present time, Fearntank concentrates primarily on product tankers from 20.000 dwt up to 115.000 dwt and crude oil tankers from 47.000 dwt up to 300.000 dwt.

Fearntank has recently started to provide its services to oil companies in emerging markets by offering to take on the job of tanker chartering, advisory services, logistical support, operations and follow-up of existing contracts. We have already experienced considerable success in providing these services, and the level of customer satisfaction is high.

Fearntank is committed to the concept of a single broker market and is actively pursuing the necessary skills and contacts required to be the sole intermediary for the majority of business it concludes. As such, Fearntank has been active in transforming its client base in order to include both shipowners and charterers. In this respect, the department has been instrumental in encouraging the establishment of offices in markets with a ready availability of charterers such as, among others, China and Russia.
