LPG/LNG

LPG/Petrochemical gases
Fearnleys offers a full range of chartering services of vessels able to carry LPG, ammonia, and petrochemical gases. These vessels range in size from about 1000 cbm to 85.000 cbm, which are the largest LPG carriers.  The focus of the LPG chartering market in recent years has shifted to an emphasis on cargoes, and direct contact with charterers has become a necessity for brokers who wish to continue in the business. In this respect, Fearngas has cultivated important relationships with virtually all of the major charterers who are in a position to charter vessels owned by Fearngas´ client base. In addition to chartering LPG vessels, Fearnleys is actively engaged in servicing a large porfolio of clients interested in acquiring or in disposing of LPG vessels. Fearnleys has been actively involved in a significant volume of such transactions for its customers.

LNG
Fearnleys has over 30 years of experience in LNG transportation, dating back to the very early days of this industry. Fearnleys was instrumental in the development of seaborne LNG transportation back in the mid 1960s and brokered deals for some of the first LNG vessels ever built and successfully developed long term charter contracts in this shipping segment. Since the beginning, Fearnleys has carefully followed LNG shipping and its development.

Today, Fearnleys has a dedicated LNG team supporting shipowners, charterers, yards and projects with LNG transportation intelligence and expertise. In recent years, a spot and short term LNG chartering market emerged, and Fearnleys was active in this new segment from the beginning. With its worldwide presence, especially in regions/countries involved in LNG, Fearnleys is able to work globally and act locally. Forecasts indicate strong growth in the seaborne trade of LNG. Fearnleys has dedicated itself to serving this market in the past, continues to do so in the present and will be actively involved in the future of LNG to the benefit of its many clients in this growing industry.
