Even before the onset of the term ´globalization´, Fearnleys was already a global organization because the company realized long ago the global nature of the shipping business and the importance of local knowledge not only of a commercial but also of a cultural nature.

An intimate understanding of local shipping markets provides the intelligence we need to give a truly global and genuine service which reflects the needs of and delivers adequate solutions to both local and global customers simultaneously.

By establishing ourselves in many different markets around the world we are able to give each of our local customers a global perspective whilst being in a position to tailor make products and services which benefit from both our global and our local presence. Also, we work whenever and wherever our customer base is located, building local trust, understanding and knowledge and thereby cementing relationships of long standing.
